| Compatibility of soluryl R-40
| Soluryl R-40 emulsion is compatible with a wide range of resins including styrenated shellacs,acrylics and rosin maleics. Dilution with glycols,glycol ethers and alcohols is excellent.| | Emulsion : Soluryl R-90 | | Emulsion | 3:1 | 1:1 | 1:3 | | Soluryl-351/352 | C | C | C | | Soluryl R-20 | C | C | C | | Soluryl R-20B | C | C | C | | Soluryl R-90/90G | C | C | C | | Soluryl R-20B | C | C | C | | Soluryl E-80F | C | C | C | | Soluryl E-8040 | C | C | C | | Soluryl RX-20/30 | C | C | C | | Soluryl SX-1420 | C | C | C |

| Dilution Characteristics
| Soluryl R-40 can be diluted with water/alcohol blends. It is advisable to pre-mix solvents before adding to the polymer to avoid any possible solvent shock.
| Pigmentation
| | Soluryl R-40 is compatible with most organic and inorganic pigment used in water-based inks.As with all water-base carboxylated acrylic polymers, care must be taken with barium and calcium based organic red pigments as certain types can cause tickening.Soluryl R-40 can be pigmented in a number of ways as follows: | | -Grind dry pigment directly into Solury R-40 | | -High speed mixing with pre-dispersed pigment pastes | | -Grind dry pigment into resin solution and use Solury R-40 as the letdown |
| Safety Information
| | Soluryl R-40 is not formulated to contain any hazardous or regulated materials such as lead, cadmium, mercury and chromium compounds. And raw materials for Soluryl R-40 and our manufacturing process do not includ any hazardous or regulated materials. | |
